Kirk Mann Photography

 Kirk Mann has lived and worked in Ventura since 1985. You will find him wandering the shorelines of Ventura & Santa Clara river estuaries just before sunrise.

He loves to connect with nature and the wild animals that inhabit our local ecosystem. He is a friend to the birds, flowers, and bees. By day, Kirk has practiced Chinese medicine and acupuncture for over 20 years. He studied Chinese calligraphy, oriental brush painting, and sumi e with Tomi Ito Levin. He is also a passionate singer-songwriter. A student of eastern philosophy, shamanism, yoga, and oriental art ~ Kirk’s photos reflect a deep respect, awe, and appreciation of the natural world.
